They have nuclear weapons, and they've not only threatened to use them, but have left evidence that they have the technology and the will to use them.

Israel is a false nation that exists only because of the unwitting generosity of the US taxpayer. Take away their five billion a year in military welfare and you've got...what?
And people, don't give me any of your Bible fairy tales about the Jews being "God's Chosen People". I mean---how arrogant is that?
In my opinion, since Germany perpetrated the Holocaust, the WWII Allies should have given the Jews THAT country...but oh, I forgot, Germans are WHITE, and the little Palistinians were a lot easier to steal a country from.

I don't think they could last because their right in the middle of Arab countries that all hate them. The only thing that really upsets with Israel is to stop all this fighting with everyone. They know that if they make that Iran crazy man mad he has already said he'll wipe them right off the map. I wish they would stop all this fighting and fussing all the countries just for a change live good and try to get along.

My husband and I were just discussing this situation today. He is a former marine and his thought is that Israel would not survive without the U.S. to back them up. But I don't mind supporting Israel. After all they want to be destroyed by evil Muslims who believe the Holocaust never existed and that the Jews don't deserve the Promise Land.
But one day the land of Israel will be controlled by the Anti-Christ. Til then...that's all she wrote.

They're a prosperous country in their own right, full of educated, enterprising individuals. They get donatons from various Jewish societies and organizations and could easily survive without the 3-4 billion in US aid they receive each year.

yes I agree, and I doubt if the could survive, the reason we do back them is a fuzzy issue, has it anything to do with the group of people that control a lot of money in this country?
