it says 800 on back and i want to sell asap i want to try to do it without using ebay and i really want to know how much it is worth

Do you know who the maker is? If so, you can complete a search for the price of cameos made by that person/company. Even if you don't want to sell on eBay, you can use it to check what similar items are going for. Listed below is a link which shows what a cameo which has a silver 800 stamp on the back. I'm not sure if it is the same maker as yours, but you can take a look and see.

Go to an antique dealer or appriaser. they'll be able to tell you how much it's worth. But remember too, sometimes grandmas have a whooole lot of costume jewlery. Meaning, jewlery that looks nice but is worth nothing. So don't be disappointed if that's the case here lol.

Well if you want to sell it you'll need to go to a place that perhaps can sell it for you......check out a good jeweler who knows about cameos in particular.
