Eating right might not be all you need. Your periods can be irregular if you are overweight- this I say from experience- when I started exercising and eating right, it was regular after that. It could also be stress-examine your life to see if you are under a lot of pressure or work, lighten up a bit. Also, if you just recently started your periods, that could be a reson too- your body needs a with the periods, so give it some time. Sometimes, rarely, some women do not get their periods every month- they might have their cycles once in two or three months, but that pattern of once in two or three months is regular. If you are still anxious, talk to your mom or your doctor.

It's perfectly normal for a young woman to be irregular. I personally used to get them 2 weeks straight until I was put onto birth control to normalize it. I was also a virgin so my mom didn't think anything of the BC. Also there are BC pills that keep you from getting your period for X amount of months. So I'm pretty sure it won't hinder anything, but if you are scared ask a doctor.

It sounds like you were 'blessed' by irregular periods. If you are a virgin, you will have your period. It's a good thing to have a period each month, but your body will take care of itself in that area. I know many girls and women who are irregular. When you become sexually active, I would begin taking the pill (if you want) and this helps regulate your cycle.

There a lot of different things that could be happening. This is probably best answered by your doctor. It could be something major or it could be minor, like stress. Get a full check up and blood work done and hope for the best :)

It's best to see your doctor. It could be anything. Only a doctor could detect a simple cyst on your ovary. There are so many possibilities.

It can be caused by stress, too much exercise (not your case), poor nutrition, hormones, or some other illness.
