Both are wrong but for a man to hit a woman is always worse. He is strong enough to subdue her without violence, she is not.

It is equally bad. The woman began the violence and the man finished it. Normally though, I would say that under no circumstances should a man beat his wife. Let's try to be adults here, and not hit anyone. What you need to say can be put into words, not actions.

everyone says men should never women. but. in a marriage, a woman shouldnt hit a man, either. both are in the wrong. hitting eachother shows complete lack of respect for one another. either work out issues with out hitting or both people get out before hitting becomes a serious, all the time issue.

Firstly no one should physically hit anyone but if the woman hits her husband I think he has every right to hit her back. Too many men are physically abused by their partners and are too ashamed to admit it. An eye for an eye I say!

as you said you hit your husband first.its a heated argument and you allways feel bad after. its just a reaction to being hit you just hit back.but who is to blame both of you hit out at each other. so you need to talk and make shore when you next have an argument that there is no contact by eney of you.the point im making is the more you hit out at each other the worst it will become for both of you.i myself would be worried if this was happining in my life.i would have to find a solution.if your both commited to your relationship then you can worke together and talk thru.but i must say please stop hitting out at each other. you must show respect and worke together.it must be 50-50 down the line.i hope this will be of help to you both.

Both are in the wrong. When it gets to the stage in a relationship where physical violence is used...by either party...then its time to bail out. Domestic violence is like cheating-once it starts, it will not stop.

I would say that they were both in the wrong unless the man was defending himself as everyone has the right to defend themselves against attack. Men can be the victims of domestic violence too, they just report it less.

both in the wrong but as is the case usually, it is one's word against the other so the police very rarely take up domestics unless the woman or man has been persistently abused.
i was the victim of my fiancee who had a history of depression and violent/aggressive behaviour.
i accepted the risks and never hit her, even tho she came very close to killing me.
i still love her but live separately.

Violence is wrong in both partners yes men tend to be physically stonger but not in all cases so therefore being fair to both sexes would say both are in the wrong
