R U sure she's a Muslim woman ? For Arabs, wearing full veil (niqab, hijab or burqa') is a tradition, not only for Muslim, Pagan, Christian & Jew also use this piece of cloth.
It's not a sin when a Muslim greets non-Muslim like that, treat it as a compliment and respect but it would be a sin if a Muslim do celebrates non-Muslim festivals/celebrations.

More scaremongering. It's the alternative Christmas message. Hence, they are offering an alternative, and also tackling a red hot topic. The woman concerned is a well educated British citizen. What's the big deal?!
Christ on a bl00dy BIKE!

"Quran is very clear about the dress code for the believers. Innovations and fabrication intorduced Hijab (veil) to Islam (submission.) Hijab (veil) is a traditional, not religious head cover that dates back to ancient civilizations, and is not supported or advocated by the Quran."

If the speech offers peace and harmony, integration, love, forgiveness and sharing in all aspects of life, why not. It cant be worse than the queens speech. She would not know the real world if it slapped her in the face. "Christmas is a time for giving not starting wars."

i really don't care, why should it matter? It's America, people! Come ON! what happened to freedom and not descriminateing people! Who cares if she is muslim? it's not like just because she is muslim she can't celebrate/belive in/or deliver a message about christmas. I mean really, christmas has become so comercial now that most people don't even celabrate it for it's true meaning.

Muslim people I knew I did not celebrate christmas, surely this is blasphemous, and very PC incorrect to christians at christmas. Inverse PC, even Satanist, ridiculing a christian celebration in a christian country.

It pure crazy channel 4 letting this woman do it. I bet the Saudi and other Muslims countries wouldn't let a christian broadcast a message on air in their country.

You've forgotten to add to your question the following vital information: These women will be wearing the traditional veil only (e.g. only eyes are visible), however, they will be fully naked from the neck down completely. Now that is really a Channel 4 idea!

I think its appauling in a Christian country. If you tried to give Christian sermon in a Muslim country, you would probably be beheaded or at the very least, sent to jail. I am not being racist, I have visited the middle east for work and its scary how religiously strict they are. I fail to see why the UK should bend its religious rights to appease a minority.
