I just noticed some of the responses from lesbians to the bi-sexual questions seemed to indicate this

I'm a Bisexual female and I don't get it either.
This is the LGBT community, not the G/L Community or the B Community or the "T" community. we're all in this together, we're all discriminated against in the same ways.

What's worse is we're all human beings.

Just because I'm bi doesn't mean I'm greedy or hyper-sexualized or even indecisive. I know who I'm attracted to WHEN I'm attracted to them. I see past the male/female genders and more directly to the beauty within the individual.
Yes, I'm just as likely to be attracted to a male as a female, but I'm very contented in being in a committed and loyal relationship with my soulmate who happens to be a female as well.

It doesn't make me a lesbian because my life partner is a female, I'm still bisexual. It doesn't mean I'm incapable of a committed, monogamous relationship, I've never once cheated on my partner nor have I ever wanted to.

I don't get the separatist attitudes we get within our own community. This is one of the main factors of why we aren't taken seriously in our fight for equality, we can't even get it together within our own ranks.

That's funny. I am a gay woman, and I do not hate bisexual women at all.

However, if you are married to a man, you should not have a female lover (or a male). That is cheating. Same goes if you are in monagamous relationship with a woman, you shouldn't have sex with a man (or another woman) because that is cheating. Bi women often ask if it's cheating. It is.

Also, there is no such thing as 'bi-curious'. There is curious, there is bisexual, there is gay. There is also chicken-s h i * . But no bi-curious. Sorry.

My answers might seem to some to be hateful, but in truth I am simply being honest. And I have a good deal of comapssion for mostpeople regardless of orientation, race, religion, etc.

Some lesbians hate bisexual women because they don't really believe that they are bisexual. They think that they are pretending, so life can be eisier for them, but they can still get som kind of sex that they really want sometimes (with a woman.)

Be well.

Well to be honest with you, I think that they are afraid of bisexuals. And their lifestyles. To me Lesbians have shut off sex with men totally, and that they only want other women. Where as the bisexual woman wants the best of both worlds... And in my opinion i think that lesbians sees the bisexuals are not commited to one side.. And that are willing to sleep with both men and women.. So in all reality, Lesbians thinks that bisexuals are basically uncommited. Now when i say this, i am referring to a few lesbians that i have encountered in my past. But not all Lesbians hate bisexuals... I believe there is a few lesbians out there who does have bisexual friends...But in my mind, i think they focus on the always changing partners the bisexuals have. I do not see why they won't accept the bisexuals, when they were at one time like that.

Not all lesbians are like that.

I think one of the best reasons for this is, when a lesbian is in a relationship with such a woman. There is a big possibility that the woman might fall for someone else, and that person is a guy. It really hurts when a thing like this happens to you.

We as lesbians accept bisexuals but they should try to be straight-forward about which sex they prefer the most.

I tell you for what I know. People in general dont like Bisexual because they cannot believe that we bisexual can find attraction in both Man and woman. They think we are in between the line and sooner or later we should cross or stay in either side. I get that all the time. A lot of gay man tell me that they can't deal with me just for the fact that I like women. Now lesbian hate bisexual woman 'cause they don want to taste in you the essence of a man body. It stay with you and it's like pepper spray for them...

Because _some_ GLs (B and T aren't really appropriate here) falsely consider it sex-craving, or that someone is actually gay/lesbian and just isn't prepared to go the whole way and admit to it.

In reality, that makes up a small percentage but it's enough to sway views.

I guess a lesbian has made up her mind which way she is going and wonder what's the matter with the bis.
