1) Patriot Act.
2) Got a law passed on dealing with Corupt CEO's like Enron, Tyco, Worldcom etc.. Remember they did all the lying during Clinton Administration and got Busted when Bush was in Office. All of them Did. The stock/market corrections from their lying affected the Stockmarket.
3) Set 3 new records for the stockmarket beating Clinton old record.
4) Set all time low in unemployment over the last 12 years, again beating Clinton old record.
5) Protecting the US from Terrorism even though we got attacked when he was in office for only 8 months. While Clinton was in office for 8 years and couldn't protect us from the attack. So How could Bush do it in 8 months. FYI. No other American president got attacked more during ""PEACE TIME"" than Bill Clinton. Go Figure.
6) Rebuilt the CIA after a 60% cut by Bill Clinton
7) Rebuilt the Military
Sorry I was supposed to stop at 3. I could keep going. Everyone wants to bash Bush cause he talks like a monkey. That's not his fault. But he does make sound decisions. And he'll be the first one to stick up for the USA instead of Cut and Run like the Democrats and ingonoring several attacks on the US over 8 years like Clinton did. Since he was more worried about soiling some girls dress.

In my opinion, we have not engaged in a justifiable war since WWII. I was recently told by an intelligent friend of mine, that the U.S. no longer has the will to win a war. I replied, and believe, that we do have the will to win a war that is worthwhile, but that we lack the good sense to not engage in a war that is not worthwhile. This war we are in now, in Iraq, is not a war we should have ever fought. Say what you will, Saddam did not have weapons of "mass destruction" he was not in cahoots with Al Quedae. It was purely a war of choice, that was planned long before 9/11. The intended result was much different from what happened. It was supposed to "democratize" the middle east and make Israels safer. It has done no such thing.

The only thing I can think of is that he cut through some of the bureaucracy by reducing the size of the Republican Party, and allowed for some more of the "seasoned" Congressmen to be replaced.

He lowered taxes on ALL tax paying americans, which spurred one of the greatest economic booms in our nations history.
He has nominated conservative supreme court justices who interpret laws as they are written, not how they'd like them to be.
He has supported and seen passage of no child left behind education legislation
He has supported and had some success in passing legislation allowing government support of faith based charities.
He has overhauled homeland security
He has led the country to prosperty even though the country has faced the worst attack on our soil ever, destroying the world trade center, lived through Hurricane Katrina, one of the worst natural disasters in the history of our country, and made it through some of the worst corporate scandals our country has ever seen. (Enron, Worldcom, Tyco, etc.)
He was unfortuntley unsuccessful but at least he got us discussing social security personal accounts, which would do more to enrich the poor than any legislation or action in the history of the country.
I know you liberals think the government should do everything for you, but that's not the role of government, not in the American I love.
