I love Christmas lights! What about you?

When I think about putting up Christmas lights, I always have the picture in my mind of walking home from a friend's house one year, and seeing that my mom had put up Christmas lights in our front yard... that's when you know Christmas is right around the corner :)
I've always liked driving around neighborhoods to look at the lights other people have set up. I especially like the people's houses that were professionally decorated by a professional in the house, if you know what I mean... like when they will write "Merry X-mas" or "Happy Holidays" by stringing lights together :)

When I was a child my parents would load us in the car and drive around and look at lights. At home we had only a single line of lights around the roof. Even as an adult I love to drive around and see all the neighbors light displays.

My whole family would go out and look at them together, all over the town. We don't do that anymore because we all grew up. Good times
