It's a guy in his mid-20s kind of into the macho culture thing - but I want to try and be a little original and different - any ideas?

Depends on how much you want to spend . . . movie tickets are nice, a gift certificate to a restaurant, a start-up gym membership, a nice, high-quality electric razor is always good for anybody who grows hair and occasionally trims it, a magazine subscription to pretty much anything that might catch his interest, funny T-shirts (if he's into that, then there are tons to fit the macho concept), any cute little manly trinket from one of those junk catalogues . . . you know, lighters that look like little guns, talking toilet seats, etc.. Have fun with it.

Hope that gets your mind jogging, and Merry Christmas, secret santa!

get him a pass for a backrub or a massage (no, not the 'happy ending' kinds for all the dirty minds out there) - seriously, who would turn down a massage?
