First. Games. Microsoft has been picking up all the rookies with a lot of potential while Sony has stuck with it's companies that have made great games in the past but are old and need to retire. The most relevant example is SqaureEnix. They made some of the greatest games ever, but they can't keep up with the younger generation's needs and wants and will suffer dearly for their inability to keep up. Sony will be plagued by this in the future and Microsoft will pull ahead as it's picking up the younger, more fresh players while Nintendo will continue making kids games and games that are "fun," which will keep them in the race as much if not more than Sony.

Second. Reliability. Ps2 had more problems than any fan would admit. Ps3 has be enduring many, many problems in it's first few weeks of release. Granted 360 had a number of problems in it's initial release, Ps3 still should look better than this.

Third. Capabilities. On a scale of 1-10 for total game graphics, sound and playability, the consoles rate as fallows. Wii 5-6. Xbox 360 8. Ps3 8.5-9. They're really isn't much difference between the 360 and the Ps3. Xbox has a rich online community that Ps3 will have to copy to keep up. Wii's online allows downloads of old NES and some Sega games. Plans for Nintendo 64 games are in the works for download able content.

Ps3 has Blu-ray and if you believe that's the future of DVD then you'd be better off buying a Ps3 than a Blu-ray player as the Ps3 is about $200-$1000 cheaper than a player.

360 has a HD-Drive that you can purchase for $200 and if you believe HD-DVD is the future then there you go.

Wii has no DVD support.

Wii is the cheapest system and it would be "fun." Nintendo has always been a parent friendly system and is great for younger kids.

Ps3 is the most expensive system($599 for the top system,) and would be good as a Blu-ray player.(If you want to argue the hard drive, you can buy a USB drive for XBOX and have more space than Ps3 and still be cheaper.)

360 is the ladder and has a much better set up over Sony and Nintendo. Games are great and you can expect a lot of exclusive games from 360 in 2007.

Get a 360.

I would rather have a Wii sooo much!! And a 360 like next year..

The Wii, I can get my family into gaming so they'll start to realize that games are fun... And it's not violent like the 360, doesn't overheat, and less chance of faulty equpitment and stupid updates..

I heard this one person got 1st degree (Maybe something less, but wow!) burns on his hand after he accidently touched the top of his 360 trying to check if some thing is wrong.

Yet the 360 has great games, I'm kind of afraid of it failing since my parents get angry when something fails and decides that they won't buy this kind of games again and such... And it over heats...

The question we will attempt to answer in this article is as follows: Is Xbox 360 better than Nintendo Wii and Ps3? While it's true that what is better to one person may not be better to someone else, determining the superiority of one game system to another can often be done with a simple comparison of the various features and benefits of each one. First, let's examine the selling points of the Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 offers three different core processors which operate at a lightning fast 3.2 GHz each. The system also features a graphics processor which boasts 500 MHz. What does this mean in layman's terms? It means that you get to experience incredibly realistic graphics with any game you choose to play. Not only that, but you can play with wireless controllers for ultimate freedom. Playing games isn't the only thing you can do with the Xbox 360. You can play audio CDs, access digital camera images, watch high definition movies and television, and combine different media formats together at once. For example, you can play music at the same time that you're playing a game. The cost for one of these systems? Approximately $299 for a basic system with no bundled games or accessories. There are bundled packages that come with extras like controllers and games that you can purchase for a higher price.

Now let's examine the Nintendo Wii. This system is set to hit stores in North America on November 19th, 2006. The Wii is Nintendo's smallest and most powerful gaming console ever, and is eagerly anticipated by gamers everywhere. For around $249, you can get one of these consoles if you're lucky enough to grab one before they sell out. The Nintendo Wii is backwards compatible with all GameCube games and offers incredible power in a tiny package. This system can connect to the Internet even when it's turned off, making it easy to take your gaming experience online. One of the selling points of this system is its bluetooth technology powered wireless remote which can be controlled with one hand. Another cool feature of the Wii is the use of channels -- you can access your discs, your local weather, a neat avatar creator and even a Web browser.

Then there's the Play Station 3 from Sony, scheduled for North American release on November 17th. This is another game console that offers backwards compatibility, which means you can play your PS1 and 2 games on this system. A Cell Broadband Engine and Blu-Ray Technology, in addition to two different configurations to choose from are just some of the features you'll receive. You can play games on your TV or online, enjoy CDs, and watch DVDs with this game system. The 20GB configuration costs around $499 retail, while the 60GB configuration runs $599. However, pre-orders for this system are running a lot more than that at the current time!

So, back to the question is Xbox 360 Better Than Nintendo Wii And Ps3? It honestly depends on the game enthusiast asking the question. Some gamers simply have particular games that they like better than others that are only offered by a particular company. When it comes to features and benefits, all three systems in question are packed full of cutting-edge technology, incredible graphic capabilities and lots of multimedia options.

hmmmm.....i thought i answered this question a couple of days ago......anyways, i'd rather have the ps3 if i was excluding the price of the consoles. it's the most powerful of the consoles making it the best. Then again, there's always the wii since it's so cheap and affordable. Oh yea, the controller for the wii is awesome.

the alternative is an extensive one, yet i assume it has to do with what precisely you opt for out of the device. X container 360 is the chief whilst it comprises variety in gaming. It has a brilliant determination of recent and older video games to come to a decision on between besides as many new 360 unique video games that are quickly to be released. PS3 will attempt to tell you that Hideo Kojima and different interest builders who've been dependable to Sony interior the previous are in straightforward terms coming up for the PS3, yet information is that he's thinking of doing a interest for the xbOX 360 besides. The Wii is actual relaxing and provides excercise besides, yet whilst it comprises pictures or genuine tricky middle gaming playability it in basic terms does not cut back the mustard. it relatively is reall y relaxing although, and that i might propose getting it because of fact it in straightforward terms costs 2 fifty. finally, the PS3. it relatively is impressive little doubt approximately it. touch sensors, rapid load circumstances and controller attractiveness, CD get admission to for video games protecting them pristene whilst working( the XBOX 360 has been oftentimes going on to scratch video games extremely whether that's no longer precisely point) and the seems. Blue ray HD action picture playability and HD gaming, WI FI connectivity to the internet and many different perks supply it a cushty lead in high quality, however the cost tells it. you will get a HD stress for the XBOX 360 too besides the shown fact that it relatively is amazingly undesirable having lots of white packing containers mendacity around. The PS3 is accessible in one kit and seems mushy, however the video games are constrained in volume, no longer high quality. it relatively is in basic terms taking too long for the interest builders to make the video games and that's why i'm taking back the PS3 and protecting my XBOX. XBOX 360 for gaming skill wins.

I have a Wii and love it. My husband would like to have a PS3 also, for the more serious games, but we both agree that $500 is too much money for it!
