Does he buy you stuff out of nowhere and do things unexpected??? Or does he just thinks about himself (most of the time)??
.....Or is that the women's job to think like that all the time????
Sorry!! im a little confused that after talkin to him, he still doesnt do anything that I have asked for in the past. I would like a little surprise candlelite dinner/bath every once in a while or even for him to take me out without me having to suggest it all the time.Dont get me wrong he is the best thing that has happen to me but I dont understand.
Somebody please tell me, is it only us who think like this???

Sometimes if we've been getting into arguments more than usual, my boyfriend will surprise me by taking me out to dinner at our favorite restaurant. Other times, he'll stop by on his lunch break just to spend time with me and/or call me just to talk while he's at work. Men are simple minded, they don't always take into consideration the fact that every once in a while, we need special treatment. If you've let him know how you feel and he hasn't responded, maybe it's time to do something considerate for him. Sometimes you have to give to receive. If you have been giving and not receiving, maybe it's time to back off and see if he comes through for you. Good luck.

If my spouse ever did something like buy me flowers I think I died. I am lucky I can get my husband to take out garbage when he is home. Some men just aint romantic at all.Unless we have to push them in to it. And hell when that happens who wants anything had to work so hard to get it you know. I guess it is just a man thing hun I really don't know. I do know it can really piss a person off though. Good luck but I am in the same boat as you are.

well i think men love getting surprises even if they dont let on they do. I know I dont get them unless it a sink full of dirty dishes ... oh wait thats not a surprise. But I would like a nice surprise every now and then just to feel appreciated or thought about. I think with some men mine included there is a delay button on that has been stuck on for some time,we're in it together i guess

You know what I found out ... when you ask a man to do something... they do the complete opposite !!! *Some* men don't think of the little gestures you suggested as something worth getting upset over if he doesn't do it... he thinks that him being nice and understanding should be good enough ! Women like that romantic stuff.. men don't realize that it makes us happy and appreciated and that.. at one point of time during his busy day.. you came across his mind, made him smile and he thought of getting you something just because.... !
Sometimes they will do it at the beginning of the relationship... but that fades away as time goes...
Sorry... Some men do .. .some men don't.. that's about it...

He surprises me every once in a while.
I have come home to flowers, and cards. I have had 2 incredible valentines days with him. He sends me sweet text messages sometimes. On our daughters 6 month check up her surprised me with flowers.
He surprises me all the time. I have never asked him to do anything, he just does it when he wants.

You are not the only one! My husband is a nice guy but he doesn't surprise me or buy me stuff and he know i am a romantic person but he doesn't make an effort and so me either. Is not only our job to do this things... but them too. And i don't understand this thing too. I learn that if i want something i go buy it. and not waiting for him for surprising me. Well I'm not a woman ,but I thought I would give it a try-I surprise my wife w/ small "prizes" all the time-just so she knows I was thinking about her-sometimes I surprise her by jumping out of the closet naked and... well that's not really the question!!!

My husband is a surprise kinda guy. Even from Iraq. On his leave, he showed up at my door. he wouldn't give me the exact date. One day for no reason, the FexEx guy showed up with a long box from him that looked like roses, but it was chocolate covered strawberries from Sharri's Berries (berries.com). It was awesome!!!
