Why, because he has a lesbian daughter? How is that hypocritical? Just because he loves and supports his daughter and accepts her as she is, doesn't mean he necessarily supports gay marriage and adoption. The two are not mutually exclusive.

The real hypocrisy would be if he didn't support his daughter in her pregnancy...not an adoption...a pregnancy. And just because he doesn't support gay marriage doesn't mean he doesn't support the rights of gays...two entirely different things.

no, having a gay son or daughter doesn't make you a hypocrit for being against gay marriage and adoption. If he himself was gay and got married, then he would be a hypocrit. What do you want him to say? "We're very sorry our daughter has decided to get pregnant and we want no involvement in her life or that of our grandchild" Give me a break.

No..I'm a democrat and I'm against gay marriage...So does that make me a hypocrite.Not likely...I am for woman having the right to choose.Every woman should have the right to choose what to do with their body.Just like everyone has the right to speak their believes without being called a hypocrite.

I agree, he's a hypocrite. What kind of parent refuses to acknowledge their Gay child's right to have the same social rights as any other American?
Those people who say they have Gay friends or kids, or are socially conscious, but still refuse to accept the fact that Gay people should be allowed to marry, are just full of sh*t, they're trying to play both sides of the fence.
