Oh look you've started a row now.!!!
I was watching the news (yes i do sometimes) and heard the reporter say George W Bush has some tough reading, and i thought "Uh oh, someones bought him a comic with words instead of just pictures", but no it was this report.
The problem is they also said he told a reporter that he would stand by his decisions on this war even if the only support he had was from his wife and Barney the Dog. Now i think Barney stopped supporting him when Dubya dropped him on his head, but i reckon Laura's still with him, so no i don't think he will eat "humble pie", not until laura learns to think for herself and cook it for him. Because apparently her and a dog are the only ones that matter to him, which is kind of a "up yours" to his entire country and all the people in it don't you think??

Goonern1, are all Bush supporters as literate as you are? I hope his humble pie chokes the life out of him.
OK, I've watched the video. I assume that your contention that Bush does not have to include humble pie in his diet is that the majority of people, through ignorance of the facts, will not question or call into account his activities. Unfortunately, you didn't make that clear and Orwell was just as hot on the misuse and abuse of language as a medium of thought as he was on the use of doublethink. Your comment read like any of the Bush apologists' comments and that was what I saw.

When he is done plundering Iraq and finished bullying the Middle East, his term will be up. Humble pie? I think he laughs about our opinion. I do think he is worried about being abandoned by his dad and friends. That might bring him to a stronger reaction. He may be being hung out to "twist in the wind." Imagine what he must think of that.

If he's going to eat pie, is there any possibility that someone could put some pretzels in it, he seems to be somewhat allergic to them, I'd pay good money to see him trying to pat his own back trying to get those damn snack foods out.
