Will Hillary Clinton win the Democratic nomination for president in 2008? If so, does she have a prayer of winning?

A prayer? Yes. And that's likely all she has, unfortunately. I think the country is ready for a woman to try, but not ready for a woman to win, and since we so very very very desperately need something, anything other than a Republican to win...I'm hoping she will wait until next time. We need all the Democrats and unaffiliated voters voting the same way to stop the "axis of evil" that is between Bush's ears, and those that think the way he does. And then, with any luck our children will not be subject to enforced prayer in school. Amen.

I have nothing against a Woman President but if The Democrats pick Hilary as their Presidential Candidate for 2008, they might as well just tell The Republicans...keep the keys...you guys get The White House for another 4 years because she will not win!

The Country is probably ready for a Woman President but for God's sake...not Hilary! I am a New Yorker and a Democrat and I feel I wasted my vote on Hilary. In my opinion, she is not too good a Senator and will make an even worse President.

Nothing against the ladies!

i like your first question...prayer..in her case if she doesnt have one she surely needs one. the quesiotn isnt can she win its WHY SHE SHOULDNT RUN.
character is and should be established by deed and not word. Just a few years ago we had travelgate, filegate, whitewater, the health care fiasco, the vince foster coverup the cattle futures coverup, jennifer, paula, monica, the largest tax increase in us history and so on. No, she wasnt president at the time, however she was definitely in on the discussions and saw no need to change an ominous tide of events.
Character most definitely does matter in my household..I believe for example, that a sittling president who lies under oath to a federal grand jury ought to be removed from office regardless of the reason or method of the lie. I also believe that Billy Dale, an employee of the White house travel office that was gulity of nothing more than identifying the impropriety of Hillary Clinton should not have had his life and livelyhood ruined by the maniuplation of the fbi and irs and the direction of Ms. Clinton.
I think ultimately all of us are responsible for our actions, however I also think actions speak louder about intent than words...

Yes this is a different time but in this case, the precedent is very very disturbing. Please consider this carefully when casting your vote.

And yet she voted to help it in 2002. Claims it turned right into a mistake to finish that, claims she became misled by the WMD case provided (yet Bush isn't allowed an identical "mistake", curiously). If everybody does no longer have the right to declare they were misled by the administration, it really is Hillary. The senator closest to activities up foremost as a lot because the conflict, being married to the very present day ex-president, being area of that braintrust, and being very privy of the "truth" in Iraq. She did not make a mistake balloting then, she knew extra perfect than any that her affirmitive vote became required. And now she's mendacity about her motives to reinforce her political position. No, She doesn't answer MY prayers.

I think it will depend on what happens between now and 08 in the democratic controlled congress and if Iraq is still in the picture and if we have been attacked. Today Yes. It will also depend on who she selects as a running mate.

I think she could win the nomination and I also think she could possibly win..we Americans are so disillusioned by Bush we are ready for a change.. not only change, but radical change and I.think she is perceived by many to be a very intelligent woman.

the only difference between a dem and Republican is whose pocket they are in. both parties are equally corrupt.

Yes.

If she runs and I think she will, she will be the next president.

Not a fan of her, just the facts.

Not a fan of the republicans either.
