my friend thinks shes pregenant because she didn't use a condom. it was on friday and now it's wednesday. even though it's so early, she said she's been getting headaches and has been like she wants to throw up. it has only been five days, but can she still be pregnant or is she just worrying too much?

No, you cant have symptoms that early...but she can be pregnant. Your friend is just freaking out because she knows she should have worn a condom...pregnancy is the LAST thing she should be worried about. Tell her to check into getting tested, HPV is now the most common std so common that it isnt really considered an std. a majority of women have it and dont even know they have it..you can get it from just contact not by having intercourse. your friend should calm down because she can work herself into a panic attack and then make an appointment to get tested, though results wont indicate right away if she is positive for anything it is still good to get tested regularly. How old is your friend?

She could just be paranoid, but I had a "feeling" I was pregnant also. Sometimes you think your mind is playing tricks on you, so you don't want to get too carried away. I started feeling things happening down there and then even before my period was due I'd wake up every night feeling nauseous. Sure enough I was pregnant and the sickness just got worse from there. I was in a whole new world of hurt! If she wants to get pregnant good luck to her, if not, then I strongly suggest she protect herself. Pregnancy isn't fun!!!

honey I have 8 kids and I know every time within 30 min after sex whether I've been pregnant - I get unbelievably queasy - I don't even need to do a preg test.
any way if its 5 days afterward she can use a home test already - just read the box of which ones can read it this early.

Oh honey, she's just worrying herself. Tell the poor thing she's got nothing to worry about... it JUST takes a week for the egg to drop and into the uterus so it'd be impossible. You dont really have signs til 2-3 months. Which is only morning sickness. If she still worries about it, then tell her just to wait for her period, if it doesnt come, then have her take a test.

No you can't, the epp may have joined in holy matrimony with the sperm, but it is still far too soon for your body to show physical effects of concepton. Try one of those new advanced detection pregnancy test, I have patient that swear they diagnosed there pregnancy at least 1 week prior to them missing there period. Good luck.

She could very well be pg. A blood test is best this early. She could try an over the counter test.

You can have symptoms the morning after you have sex so, yes she can be having symptoms but she's probably just being paranoid.

its very simple tell her to take a preganancy test or doctor and they will tell her.
