Working is the USPS can be both rewarding and stressful. Sorting and delivering mail is a highly important job and some managers can get overly obsessed with making the numbers etc. Overall I have had a good career over the last 20 years but there are physical and psychological demands that are specific to each craft. As a Letter Carrier I have to be able to set up and get out in 3 hours and then deliver 540 stops in the remainder of my 8 hour tour, while still taking time for lunch. Some people can't handle it. My office has 75+% quit/fire ratio for new hires. If you're looking for a new career take the test and then try it out by working as a "Casual." A casual is a temporary position, no benefits position that is basically a workhorse. You'll find out quickly whether you can hack it or not. If you don't like the job as a casual then you can walk away easily and ignore the letter if they tell you that you passed the test.

Hello, I wasn't quite sure how to answer your question because you seem unsure in asking, and I; was unsure and didn't know if you meant Postal Servic(where the mails are being sorted) or the Post-Office(where you just pick up stamps, mail parcels, letters and packages, money orders ect.) sorry, this is my first answer posted, but, I'd love to help.

Have a good day
