Can you guess if I'm having a boy or a girl by these symptoms?

I'm 21 weeks and know there are many old wives tales, but for a bit of fun and based on your experience or opinion, do you think I'm having a boy or a girl:-

1) I was violently ill for the first 14 weeks.
2) I am carrying very high
3) I have developed dark hairs around my belly button
4) I am always craving fruit. Lots of nectarines, apricots and peaches.
5) The baby is extremely active. Jumping and kicking all the time.
6) First ultrasound the heart rate was 154bpm, next one was 141bpm

I don't know the sex and didn't find out at the last ultrasound, but it's fun to play the guessing game.

I have always been blessed with very good skin, so my complexion is always clear. My complexion is still good.

Occasionally get heartburn. Not too badly and it doesn't last long.

I think it's a boy. Had the same symptoms and the usound indicated I was having a boy.

Well, from what you've told us I guess that you are having a boy or girl! If it was a puppy you would be craving raw meat!

Sorry, couldn't help myself. There are so many old wives tales about telling the sex of your baby and someone will always get it right. This of course leads people to believe that the theory they used was correct when, in actual fact, it was just a 50-50 chance!
I had severe heartburn with all my babies, I also had bad morning sickness with all. I carried them all out front, all high. All of them gave me a big belly from 4 months on. No phyical differences whatsoever.

The only difference I noticed was this:
With each pregnancy I had a name decided early for one sex but I was undecided for the other sex and kept changing my mind. All three of them ended up being the sex I had a name decided for rather than the undecided one. Just a thought!

My first guess is you are having a boy but I thought the same thing cause I am carrying very hight and I have 1 week left to go and it hasnt dropped and the baby is very active more active than the 2 daughters I already have and my baby's heart rate is always up in the 150 - 165 range but guess what we are having a girl

So my second quess is a girl so im goona stick with this one

It's a boy if:


You didn't experience morning sickness in early pregnancy
Your baby's heart rate is less than 140 beats per minute
You are carrying the extra weight out front
Your belly looks like a basketball
Your areolas have darkened considerably
You are carrying low
You are craving salty or sour foods
You are craving protein -- meats and cheese
Your feet are colder than they were before pregnancy
The hair on your legs has grown faster during pregnancy
Your hands are very dry
Your pillow faces north when you sleep
Dad-to-be is gaining weight, right along with you
Pregnancy has you looking better than ever
Your urine is bright yellow in color
Your nose is spreading
You hang your wedding ring over your belly and it moves in circles
You are having headaches
You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived and the sum is an even number

It's a girl if:


You had morning sickness early in pregnancy
Your baby's heart rate is at least 140 beats per minute
You are carrying the weight in your hips and rear
Your left breast is larger than your right breast
Your hair develops red highlights
You are carrying high
Your belly looks like a watermelon
You are craving sweets
You are craving fruit
You crave orange juice
You don't look quite as good as normal during pregnancy
You are moodier than usual during pregnancy
Your face breaks out more than usual
You refuse to eat the heel of a loaf of bread
Your breasts have really blossomed!
Your pillow faces south when you sleep
Your urine is a dull yellow color
You hang your wedding ring over your belly and it moves from side to side
You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived and the sum is an odd number

My guess is you're having a boy but don't let superstition fool you. I thought I was having a girl when my symptons were the total opposite of my first born and I was super excited. Once the ultrasound came around they found testicles and a few months later I had a handsome little boy. Wait the next few weeks and see if the doctor can determine the baby's sex. My aunt (she's old) held a pencil tied to a string over my wrist. If it went back and forth it was a girl, if it went up and down my arm it was a boy...I don't believe in crap like that...but she was right, I had a girl. I heard if the heart beat was rapid it was a boy...but what constitutes rapid? I don't know. I've heard if you carry it high it's a boy, or maybe that's low...Sorry, I'm no help at all.

woman you're basically pregnant & regrettably a variety of unlucky ones thats getting all the yucky indications which could bypass alongside with it. you may no longer are looking forward to gender from the indicators you're having however. you will hear all varieties of issues like if its undesirable morning disease its a woman etc...yet consult from human beings like me and we will inform you that its all old different halves memories. I had a woman and had 0 morning disease & felt super. you will purely understand the fact approximately what you're having once you have an ultrasound. (thats if the toddler cooperates and does not flow his/her legs) terrific of success to you!!

sounds like you ar having a girl to me, but maybe a boy. How is the heartburn. Also have you tried dangaling the wedding ring over your belly button. if it goes back and forth it is supposed to be one vs circling the belly button to be the other. Ic ant remember which

My first guess would be that you're having a boy because you are carrying high and you were violently ill. My second guess is it would be a girl because you are craving fruits and the heartbeat is high.

with the hart beat I would say a boy. they do say that you get sicker with a boy because of the testosterone.
Now with my last preg. we sware up and down it was boy (no ultrasound either) I had all the clasic boy signs. But suprize we got an Alicyn instead.

It is still fun to try to guess. I would not give her up for the world
