After I graduated college, I moved to California. It was my dream to go to San Diego and I made it happen. I didn't want to become a star, I just wanted to get away and make a fresh start. I saved a bunch of money and drove cross country- just me and my dog. I got an apt and a waitressing job. That job led me to another job that I was with for 9 years. I met my husband (who was also a "transplant") and we are now married, own two houses and have two fabulous kids.
Make it happen. You can do it if you are passionate enough.

If you are referring to California understand we have enough of no talent "stars". But if you enjoy the performing arts by all means take acting classes, music and dance lessons. the fastest way to "Star" status is to have an outstanding talent.
If you move here to California, or anywhere else for that matter, do so because you want to be all that you can be.

no because I have lived there too long and there are tons of people there who aren't stars so the chances are slim either way.
