Does the Channel 4 Countdown clock re-set clockwise or anti-clockwise?

Hi. As a TV viewer, you never get to see the large Countdown clock re-set after it has been used for the 30 second countdown. Does anyone know if it re-sets clockwise or anti-clockwise? I have a fiver on this, so any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

I just did a search for the Countdown show where I found this quote -

"One of the most common questions about the show is whether the clock goes all the way round, and the answer is: yes, it does. The hand moves clockwise all the way round back to the top. In the early days it took 30 seconds to do this but nowadays it whizzes round in four or five seconds. When they originally designed it, they weren't sure how long the rounds would be, so they made it possible for it to count up to 50 seconds.There are bulbs in the left hand side but they're not connected up, they're just spares. When Noel Edmonds did his "Gotcha" on Richard Whitely, in one round the music had been specially re-edited to go on for 40 seconds, but the clock still stopped at 30."

It depends `cos there is 2 guys who manualy move the hands back, one is left handed so moves it clockwise and the other is right handed so moves it anti-clockwise. They flip a coin to see who gets to reset it each time so it should be 50-50 but the left handed guy is a trickster and once put the hand back anti-clockwise.

each and every so often i turn anti-clockwise because there are situations that i disobey the guidelines,i stirred anti clockwise,i began to stroll with my accurate foot,in wearing footwear accurate,the sponge is interior the right one,i ought to somewhat favor the English because i hate calculus,accurate surpassed.

I think both you and your friend should send me the money as your both wrong.

They push the bottom of the clock in hard, this makes the clock spin on its axis 180 degress and brings the arm back to the top in one go.
