Show the coaches that you are a hard worker. When you run during drills, run your fastest. Don't let them think you're slacking. Make eye contact when coaches are giving instruction and acknowledge what they are saying by nodding your head or saying "gotcha" or something. Having the passion and the interest in learning sometimes beats having natural ability.

ok first off practice and condition. conditioning id key to being a great athelte. If you have time go run a lil a mile and build up so you get agility and strength. Then practice focus on your shot dribbling just the basics and work your way up

Show your coach that you will try hard, listen to instructions and just enjoy being out there. Don't get mad when he tells you to run or you did something wrong. At that age, they really want someone coachable.

Work hard. Be the first one there & the last one to leave. Show them that you want to be challenged, that you want to be pushed to try harder, to do better.
If that fails, get incriminating photos of the coach. ;)
