why is it important to improve your vocabulary?

It is important to increase your vocabulary so you don't apply for a job and look uneducated and childish. Also, it would help you understand things better when reading, being in conversations, and writing papers college papers or even high school papers.

One thing I can't stand is the butchered english that most of the African American community speaks. Whaddit do? Holla at cha boi. Crap like that, you hear it and to me, makes me think of the uneducated slaves. It's a shame.

Communication is the key to everything is this world. It can make or brake you. No doubt. By expanding your vocabulary you only expand your knowledge and your exposure to different things in the world. It's definitely a good thing!
