need help with excel formulas?

i need a formula that will take a nightly rate and times it by 7 and then subtract $50 from the total. i have over 500 rates that i need to update and i'm hoping i can just do a formula and have it done automaticly.

So I guess if the nightly rate was in A1, you would just write
= A1 * 7 - 50
Then copy that down 500 times.

=(A1*7)-50.00
