Because they can't make money any other way, so they use words you learn in 2nd grade and a simple beat to make "music." This spawns more rappers by making kids want to be ghetto and "gangsters". =/ It's a vicious cycle. Stupid creates more stupid.

I swear your questions just get more and more stupid by the day. The don't promote it, just ask them. They do however sing about it because inquiring minds wanna know. The only true rappers are the ones who actually came out of the Ghetto. What makes you think the Ghetto is all black. Ask anyone who came from the Ghetto and I'm sure they'll tell you the Ghetto probably has the most mixes of people. What makes you think they have RACIAL self-hate? I think you just wish they had racial self hate that way you could help the poor black folk. Is that about right. At this point in time, I tell you I'm embarrased to say that I'm the same race as someone like you, I wish you were black so you can finally come up with your own answer for a change. I bet it just kills you that they make millions singing about their lives and if you tried to sing about your life, you'd make maybe a dollar. What's the matter, did you acidentally hear some bad music and your censors went off. More than half of your questions ask about the justification of this and that. What justifies you to judge what is and what isn't? Are you highly knowledgeable in Black Ghetto Pathology or are you just trying to stir up controversy again? Honestly, I feel sorry for people like you who are one-track minded. You think if you ask thought provoking questions people are going to respond like you thought so you can get an ego boost. Your question implies (falsely, I might add) that all rappers are Black. Rappers rap. If you rapped, then you'd be a rapper, too. The other thing that all rappers are is human, which is to say that there is variety among rappers; they're not all the same color, they don't all have the same upbringing, level of education, goals, motivations, outlook on life, likes/dislikes, etc. You claim to know enough about rappers to know that very "few of them came from" Black Ghetto Pathology ---I presume you meant to say very few came from Black ghettos and put the question incorrectly--- yet, apparently, you don't (or you'd know they're not all Black and not all ideologically similar). So, in response to your question, I ask... What is is about YOU that you are unable to perceive nuance among rappers?
