Although many people have joked about Tauruses and Leos, I really do believe they are a great match. I'm not a Leo - but my partner of almost 5 years is - and I'm a Taurus. This relationship can work wonderfully IF the Taurus realizes that Leos like things 'their way' and if Leos realize that the Tuarus needs a lot of attention.
Also, I agree that Cancers can be a great match for a Leo, as well as Capricorn (another Earth sign like Taurus), and Pisces (although Leos are much more serious and ambitious then the fun-loving Pisces tends to be, which can cause problems between the two).
In the end, each sign has to understand their strengths and especially their weaknesses and faults so that they can try to counteract them. That's the true life lesson of the zodiac - it can help us realize things about ourselves we wouldn't have otherwise known. Then it's up to ease to be aware of these things.

I have had horrible bad experiences with Taurus - the bulls. I have read where we just clash and this has been my experience! Last relationship of a good 20 years ended with a Taurus....
Though if you pass a person up just because of there sign, you might pass up "the one".

well, all my 25 years, all the people who hated me and who i hated turned out to be geminis....very funny but true.
