I am trying to have a baby, but I have been on Birth Control since I was like 12, due to irreg. Periods, and I have just completly stopped putting my BC patch on, and when I did I have a normal period. I was wondering what are my chances of getting a fast pregnancy, and if not a fast one, then how long it may take?!?

It takes the average woman 6-12 months to get pregnant. It really just depends on your body, how long it takes your cycles to become regular, and if you ovulate regularly. There are cases where a woman becomes pregnant right after going off birth control and others where a woman has never been on birth control but it takes her a very long time. Good luck, I hope you're ready for this.

As soon as you stop using any form of BC then the chance of getting preggo is high. Not too sure about the patch, but I know after the third day of not taking the pill you are at risk of getting preggo.
Good luck

hopefully, you are old enough (you didn't give your age) to give this child a great life, but my OBGYN told me that the best chance of getting pregnant is once you stop the birth control, then immediatly start trying. i was on the pill, so i don't know if it is similar to the patch in that way. i have the same problem you did (pre-patch), so hopefuly it works out for you. my hubby and i aren't trying yet, but i hope it works for you. you have to kind of trick your body into producing eggs on a regular basis. if you're completely uncertain, the best thing is to go to a specialist. good luck.

I have heard of people getting pregnant right away after stopping bc, this is not normal. Usually it takes about 6months or longer to get the hormones regualated w/o the bc. good luck

Sometimes on most bc your body can go from 3 mos to 1 year before you are able to get pregnant so don't get dissapointed when it doesnt happen right away

well i dont kno how great your chances are but i got pregnate when i was on the patch well i kno that when i stoped useing it i then found out that i was pregnate. well i would say go to your gynocologists and get checked to see if you have a chance well you might have blockage or something. well then i would go to a sperm bank. no not to get sperm but have your man get checked. to see if he has a high sperm count. if he has a low sperm count that could make it harder to get pregnate. so there are some ideas for you.

Well it depends on how long it takes to get out of your system it could be from anywhere from now til years! just be patient and keep trying every month, if it doesnt happen by a few months you should check with your doctor..

lol, in all seriousness, try for as long as you can without getting impatient, then if nothing, go to your local GP and see if they can suggest something :)
another thing, i really hope you dont take offence to this but it seems like you just want a baby, have you considered it long term? you seen in such a rush
Good luck x
