Or at least no frowning.

We'll be in the Pleasanton area and would like to go to a restaurant with good food where they won't frown on us for bringing our children (ages 2 and 3). A place that's not the typical pizza, fast food, TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, Chevy's, etc. would be great.

Thanks so much!

Regards,
Mari

PS-Dining Out/San Francisco was the closest category match...wish they had a category just for the east bay.

The Ark in Alameda is kid friendly - the food is MARVELOUS.
Try Jim's coffee shop on Lincoln Ave at Park St in Alameda. The best coffee shop in the world is a little farther down Park St: Ole's Waffle Shop. Go in the afternoon- weekend mornings there is a line down the block.
