i have this new birth control (mirena) and have been on it for the past 4 months. i have noticed though that after i get off my period i have this sensation to wanna have sex the moment that i can....does anyone's birth control make you feel that way?

it is not a pill like everyone thinks....it is a little plastic T that was placed inside that completely blocks my fallopian tubes. it releases the hormonal meds as the will would do....

It seems to me that the sensation you are experiencing is normal. When I started taking birth control I had the same feelings. I am still experiencing that feeling and I have been on birth control for almost 1 year and 1/2 now.

Well I don't take birth control but yes I have that sensation all the time.

Normal hormones. Every women gets that way at sometime during the month just at different times. I get that way just before my cycle starts.

LOL - I have this feeling all the time. You are probably experiencing a rush of progesterone after starting back on the pill. Lucky you!

Its the surge of hormones from the pill. Its normal and I love it and so does my man.
