There is only one Rajdhani Exp. Runs between Goa & Mumbai But the train runs only 2 days a weak Wednesday & Friday i.e.
2431 RAJDHANI EXP
Leave MADGAON 10:35 Reach VASAI ROAD 19:35

Leave MADGAON 10:00 Reach THANE 20:53

In Goa, there are 2 Railway Stationa. Madgaon and Vasco-Da-Gama. There are many trains running between Mumbai and Madgaon.
According to me Matsyagandha Express is the best train for travel from Mumbai to Goa.

You can take train number 2431 RAJDHANI EXPRESS from *MADGAON at 10:35 to reach VASAI ROAD near Mumbai the same evening at 19:35.
It has AC 1st Class, AC 2 tier and AC 3 tier.

The convenient overnight train from Mumbai to Goa is 12133 Mangalore Exp, which leaves Mumbai CST at 22.00 and reaches at 08.50 am.
If you have large suitcases, I suggest you book in 2AC, which will have more room. If you are 2 persons, you will have one side fully for you, which will give enough room for luggage. Free allowance per person is 50 kgs and maximum is 100 kgs. Beyond the free allowance will be subject to payment of charges. Beyond 100 kgs you will have to book in brake van.
Railway Luggage Rules - Suitcase having outside measurement of 100 cms. x 60 cms x 25 cms (length x breadth x height) will be allowed to be carried in the passenger compartments as personal luggage. Maximum size of the suitcase than can be carried in the AC-3 tire and AC chair Car compartment is 55 cmsx45 cms x 22.5 cms.

Mandovi and Konkan Kanya are the two good trains to go to Bombay from Goa...
There is also a fast JanShatabdi that goes upto Kurla
