The meaning is heartfelt, honest, and good, but as far as poetry goes, it needs some help. Sorry, just trying to be honest.
Look up rhyme and meter.
Of course, all writers have literary license, but from a technical aspect, it needs a lot of work. I still laud you for trying. Keep at it!
