Well if you were out of the country, chances are you have a nasty bacteria or something... did you drink the water there? I would see a doctor if I were you. If it is severe diarrhea, you could become very dehydrated, and your electrolytes could get imbalanced. This is a serious medical condition. (I'm a nurse)
Also, do not take anti-diarrhea medication! If you were in Peru, and suddenly developed diarrhea, it is most-likely caused by bacteria. Your body's mechanism of getting rid of the infection is diarrhea.
To rehydrate yourself, avoid gatorade. It will make you worse! Don't drink 7 Up either. Try 1/2 water & 1/2 gatorade mix.

You have a bug. Take something called Oil of Oregano (about 5-6 drops in a small glass of water) about 2-3 times a day. It's an anti-bacterial/anti-viral, all natural solution for diarrhea + digestive disturbances.

This type of diarrhea typically requires an antibiotc and 'stopping' it may make the problem worse so my advice is to see a physician. The only effective over the counter medication for diarrhea is loperamide (the generic of Imodium) and you make take one after every loose stool even if fifteen minutes apart but you should not exceed eight doses daily. Indeed if eight doses in twenty four hours does not resolve the diarrhea then you most certainly must seek medical attention. Good luck.

My mother had that bad. I found a formula in a bottle.that Edgar Casey had come up with for diarrhea at a health food store, it cured her and she had had that problem for years. it was amazeing how fast and how well it worked.after she took it she didnt need to keep taking it . it just cured her.You might be able to call around to some health food stores and find it.It might be a parisite. I dont know really what would be good to kill them.in your intestines.Good luck and I hope you have a Merry Christmas

QUICK and SIMPLE answer, fibre, because it adds bulk to your stool... although if you suspect you may be sick, (eg. possible food posioning), having probiotics (the bacteria in yoghurt) will help you get rid of a bug if you have one, take these as frequently as you need them, but fibre is the best! you can even get fibre capsules (which d SIMPLE answer, fibre, because it adds bulk to your stool (poo). If you're sick is easier than eating unhealthy bread!) if you have the capsules, drink lots of water!
GOODLUCK!
