Depends on the parrot species, and which rainforest you're talking about.

The Kakapo is the largest parrot species in the world. Completely flightless, it is found on only a few islands off the coast of New Zealand (and diminishing rapidly). It is found on the forest floor.

Other parrot species live high in the canopy, or in the understory, and there are also parrot species that don't live in rainforest biomes at all.

The majority of a rainforest's bird species live in the understorey layer, which is beneath the canopy but above the forest floor.

I know that the scarlet macaw lives in the canopy level. I'm not sure on all species...to many!
