Rolex, but of course.

Now an AFFORDABLE wrist watch, that's a whole different story. I would go with Swatch.

You can't ever go wrong with the Swiss.

Watches are status symbols. Rolex watches are good because everybody knows they are expensive. When used as a status symbol, it's essential that others know they are expensive. Otherwise, a good watch is inexpensive and doesn't break over years of use. Fossil is a good one, but there are many.

Michele makes an amazing watch, very unique in look and style. They have AMAZING service for them if anything does go wrong. If you buy it at Nordstrom, you can pretty much return it any time (even 5 years later) and get a replacement or a refund!
Swiss Army, Movado, Zodiac, etc.
Good luck

Of course Rolex is the finest wristwatch I have ever owned.
Be prepared to pay in excess of $4,000.00 for a good one.

i do have a Cartier Santos, but it the gold from the band gets scratched, Rolex are too flashy (too gangsta also), so i'd go for a Citizen (most economical)
Tissot (medium priced)
Baume Mercier (luxury)
Techno Marine (almost undestroyable)
