Ok, I'm tired of hearing about what people are saying about Rex Grossman and Peyton Manning! Both of these guys are outstanding quarterbacks! Yeah sure Rex has had a tough time lately, but He hasn't been in the league very long either! I remember when Manning first came to the Colts and they where 1-13. The following year they where 13-1 (equal time period) Must a team go undefeated to get any respect? It just doesn't happen! Only one team has ever done that! 72 Dolphins! Peyton throws 2 ints. against Tenessee and losses the game and OH ****! Colts surely can't go to the superbowl! They Lost to Dallas and Tennessee! No superbowl for them! In spite of a banged up secondary, the Colts are doing well! If they get there starting defensive players back; It will greatly change things! But Keep on talkin! That just get them pissed off and ready to play! Bears loose to Miami and I suppose they don't have a shot now either? Miami is better than you think!

Well they don't have to be perfect to gain respect. If they win a super bowl, BINGO! they get respect. If a team goes undafeated theyl get TONS of respect because they would have done something that hasnt been done since '72!

I agree with you. The Bears are a hell of a team, just b/c Rex is in a slump right now doesnt mean they suck, thats why teams have Defense and Special Teams, so when one side of the ball is down, the other side steps up! Hats off to the bears!! I feel the same way about the New Orleans Saints. Ofcourse you have a team who has never gone to the super bowl, and now have a shot and still cannot get recognition. The Saints have the same record as the Cowboys and yet everyone says they wont make it to the playoffs, you cant go by what a team has done in the past, because this is FOOTBALL and anything can happen, watch them Saints cause they are coming!!!

You gain respect in this league through Super Bowl appearances and victories. Tom Brady and the Patriots have respect...and three super bowl rings. Plus, it doesnt matter if Manning doesnt get any respect. If he and the Colts can prove the world wrong and win a super bowl, he'll GAIN respect and go down as maybe the greatest quarterback in the world.
Oh, and Grossman is terrible...

Cause ppl like to be bandwagon jumpers. I have been a Giants fan for 19 yrs. I have stuck by them, good or bad. You either like a team or u don't. Some ppl just like to say that their team is winning and that's BS. You aren't a true fan unless you have the same team and go w/ them - winning or losing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
