Is it true that women sometimes go poo at work? What is the scientific reasoning for this?

Following pure logic, I would have to say that they don't want to hold it in until they get home and wind up constipated. Reason enough?

Well, the scientific reason is (and try to stay with me here): When women and men eat solid food, it passes through the digestive system and, upon completion of absorbing nutrients and forming stool (the "poo" you speak of), it must be passed. This can occur at any given time of day, including during work hours.

I have a really good answer for this one!!! I don't work I am a SAHM BUT my husband obviously does. He has come home almost everyday telling me another woman crapped. He knows this because his cubical is near the woman's bathroom and the air wafts by him and he can't take it. He doesn't understand why these women mainly one woman in particular can't go when she is home like everyone else does. She goes everyday just after she gets to the office. Then they spray that nasty spray that makes it smell like flower s**t. OMG he just called me right now and tells me it happened again. I didn't even tell him I was writing this!!!! LMAO!

yes, i worked with a woman who would drink all night, and then come in have a cup of coffee and spill her bowels in the office bathroom and then it would smell all day, her BO smelled like stale cigarette breath and coffee
