I think men who buy underwear for their partners are just being lazy, unoriginal, and lack thought with regards to what to get their partner for Xmas. I think most men just buy it because they see it is an easy option - they think all women love getting sexy underwear. I see no problem if a man buys sexy underwear for his girlfriend if that is what she wants, but he should only buy it if he is sure of what she likes and her size - as most men do not have a clue. Also it shouldn't be bought every birthday, every Xmas, every valentine's day, etc.

So for men reading this remember try and be more original!!

Well, if it's 'sexy' then it would seem pretty clear that is what it is for. Rarely to men (or some women) by racy cars to leave in the garage, or a set of Jimmy Choos to leave in the wardrobe.

Surely, it all depends on the mentality, the sentimentality or the sensuality of the buyer!

Recently looking at 'lingerie' - in relation to my girlfriend, and then tonight talking with her about it on the phone (she'd asked my to look at Agent Provocateur).

I said that 'I didn't like anything I'd seen, that it looked 'tacky' and lacked any sensuality,' to which she laughed and stated that 'she'd love to wear something quite 'tacky,' just to provoke me into really misbehaving.'

depends on the woman and how conservative she is and how racy the lingerie. Myself i like if its tastefull, lacey, pretty colours etc. anything to make me feel girly and pretty now if its crouchless comes with a whip and handcuffs i would wonder who it was really for? my hubby never has bought me underwear, in fact he never buys me anything for Christmas, birthday etc.
