Why are Dominican women so concerned with their hair?

What are some products that they use to maintain and control it?

Why is having great hair such a big thing among Dominican people?

I am dominican but i think all women r concerned with their hair, no matter where theyre from.

Me personally get easily concerned wit my hair simply b/c its very curly therefore easily VERY easily gets frizzy. Dominicans range from many different types of hair from thin to thick so what one dominicana might do wit her hair could be completely different from what i or another does.

My hair is sort of a "wash and go" type, all i have to do is wash my hair every other day or two days watever, and then to prevent frizzyness i put gel in it while it's still inbetween damp and dry so when it drys it comes out almost perfect, and without all the hard crunchyness gel usually gives people.

Thank you gel!
