It was Schindler's List. Made in balck and white and the best movie of ALL TIMES. It would not have had the same effect had it been in colour!! It was also the director's first Oscar although he had been making movies for ages. Do yourself a favour and watch the movie!

Schindler's List. A touching movie about a German Christian, who tried to help the Jews by making them work in his factory. A brilliant, beautiful movie.

I'd agree with ernie e. "Cabaret" was about Nazi Germany. "Schindler's List" more about the work camps. I'm pretty sure "Cabaret" won at least one Oscar.
