I'm a senior in HS right now. I've been diagnosed with Hypersomnia. For the past years (through middle school) i couldn't help but fall asleep in every class, it sucked. Parents would tell me to get more sleep, teachers would get mad, etc. I tried to tell them. It wasn't until I fell asleep at a hospital i was volunteering at did it get noticed...long story. Anyway, I know there's a lot of kids out there who are having medical/social problems letting it out or don't even know what's going on...whether it deals with hypersomnia, depression, pregancy, etc. I want to someday tour High School's and help them find out what's going on BEFORE college comes around (where your future REALLY starts)...Any idea on how i can get started with something like that...?

Get a degree in Socialogy, perhaps a Masters In Cultural Anthopology. Educated people really respect other educated people. I have had your Hypersomnia. I lived with it by working night jobs, saving every cent and sleeping when I wasn't working, I retired at 57, so it wasn't all wasted time.
