Can they state this if they just found his dead body

well, technically they did find him. just not alive. such a sad story. seems like he was a good man. my condolences to the family. makes you appreciate what you've got.

That really is a misleading header, isnt it? They should have said something that indicated he was not found alive, like "Body of missing father found in wilderness".

Yep. They sensationalized it so you would tune in. If they said he was found dead, you'd feel llike you had enough information and go on with your day. They're so crass!
