I think Princeton Review was great!

I took The Princeton Review for SAT and for the GRE and loved both classes. The teachers were really smart and also kept the class fun. They taught ways to do Math that I never learned in school.

My score on the SAT (this was the old SAT) went up 150 points. My GRE went up over 200.

I would definitly recommend them. Haven't taken any other, so I can't say.

I can't tell you which course is best from students' view, but here is what you need in a prep course:
Content: you need to know the basic math and grammar, so your course needs to review those
Critical Thinking: you need to know the rules of the test - how it's scored, what kinds of questions show up most often, etc. A good class will give you specific strategies for each question type.
Crisis Prevention: you need to know how to manage your time on the test, how to manage your stress level, and what to do "when push comes to shove"

Finally, a good course will provide you with realistic practice tests so you can gauge your progress, answers&explanations to every single question so you can learn from you mistakes and successes, schedule flexibility so you don't have to adjust your life around it, and comprehensive guarantees so you and your parents feel secure in your decision.

My students not only love being in class (as much as anyone can enjoy being in class), but also raise their scores by 100-500 points. But don't take my word for it - do your research and check out all the free events first. Find SAT/ACT related events by going to the websites below, and make your decision then.

good luck!
