I never could stand that band. I would rather hear Streisand sing Quiet Riot, I would rather hear Yanni play Black Flag tunes on the piano, I would rather hear fingernails raked across a chaulkboard in the middle of a Lawrence Welk fest than listen to anything by Pearl Jam. I think they were one of the most overhyped boring rock band to ever whine their way onto the airwaves.

To answer your question, yeah i still like Pearl Jam. I haven't really listened to any of the new stuff, but Ten is the best album of course. I've seen them in concert and they were awesome. But, to each his own I guess. We all have different taste in music. Like you said about rather hearing Streisand and Yanni, I would prefer not to, but i'm not gonna make a production on yahoo answers stating my opinion of it. =)

Actually, you are incorrect. Pearl Jam kick ***; always have, always will. But it's OK. You were probably just brainwashed during the wave of anti-Pearl Jam propaganda that was being disseminated from 1996-2001; they lost a lot of fans during those dark days. (Then again, their material just wasn't as strong as it had been on the first 3 albums, so they were an easy target.) But now they rock again, so let bygones be bygones, eh? Give 'em a try, you're sure to enjoy.

Still listen to Ten and Verses about once a year. Fond memories more than anything else. Pretty much everything after that was crap as far as I am concerned. I have feelings for Smashing Pumpkins similar to those that you have for Pearl Jam, I just don't want to hear their music.

I have always liked their music, I mean a few songs are overplayed, but they still make good music. I have most of their cd's. So to answer your question yes people still do like Pearl Jam.

i love pearl jam and i think you are sadly mistaken. they werent overhyped..all of that stuff they say...well all of the good stuff is TRUE. they worked hard for what they have and THAT is why people like me love pearl jam.
