Restarts are often caused by temperature. If you computer starts normally & works for a period of time then starts rebooting look for a temperature issue. Make sure your fans are operating and the vents in the case are clean and not blocked.
If all the above seems O.K. then open the case and leave one side off. If the computer runs O.K. then you should suspect your memory or CPU.

Sometimes your computer will restart itself if it is overheating. You may want to clean the internal fans and parts with a can of compressed air. You should really do this every few months to avoid any serious damage to your computer.

It's divided in two conditions: A software problem or a hardware one. It can be because of viruses i it's a software problem that installing A new copy of window or a anti virus would help you. But if it be because of a hardware wrong make be something is wrong with your CPU fan. When CPU temperature goes up it will restart your PC automatically.

ARE YOU GETTING A BLUE SCREEN RIGHT BEFORE IT REBOOTS ??
THIS IS CALLED A BSOD , OR "BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH"
IT USUALLY HAS TO DO WITH DRIVERS/HARDWARE/RAM
FOR CONSTANT REBOOTS, IT IS USUALLY DRIVERS/RAM OR OVERHEATING...I REALLY NEED MORE INFORMATION TO TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT IT IS -- EMAIL ME AND I CAN HELP -- NEED TO KNOW WHAT IT IS YOUR ARE DOING @ THAT TIME, IF YOUVE CHANGED ANYTHING RECENTLY...ETC
USING SYSTEM RESTORE ONLY REALLY WORKS IF YOU WANT TO UNDO SOMETHING YOU DID OR INSTALLED -- DOESNT WORK WITH HARDWARE ISSUES UNFORTUNATELY.
THANKS
