how can I learn how read bass guitar online?

I'm in orchestra at school,but I wanna learn how to play guitar music.anybody know any sites,or have and suggestions?they will be greatly appreciated.

just look up tabs and those are exactly what they read...they have the strings laid out and then what fretts to play at what time...that should help...I hope so at least
