I have the same thing. It sorta freaked me out so I talked to my doctor. He said it was normal. The baby and uterus can sit on a nerve that runs along the front of your hip making your leg go numb. He said it can switch legs. It feels like mine has been iced for too long. I get it standing or sitting. He says it goes away after delivery. Hope I helped.

I've been having a lot of numbness in my legs from my knees down to my toes. Mostly when I'm sitting in one position for a while. I think it's pretty normal just try to keep your legs elevated.

Yes, every time I was pregnant. It is from the pressure the baby is putting on your sciatic nerve. Try laying on a different side for a few minutes when this happens. For me this went from my hip to my toes. I felt like I could not walk. If you are standing, lay down in order to get the baby to move. If you are already laying try changing to a completely different position.

I've been told that's pretty normal. I had numbness in my hands and feet. You may want to double check with your Doctor just to be on the safe side, though this far in the game your body is just wanting to get that baby out! :) Good luck with your labor and delivery!

I had similar experience. Many years on, I still have less sensation in one leg, due, my doctor says, to a little damage to the nerve which poses no health risk. You would be wise, however, to let your doctor know about it at the earliest opportunity - just to be sure.

My aunt wasn't pregnant when it happened, but she lost all feeling in her legs. After numerous tests, it ended up being that she had absolutely no copper in her blood! I'm not sure, but you should ask your doctor.
The best of luck to you and your baby!
