I do. For simple reasons such as to bring civilization to Mid East countries that have still not learned to be at peace with one another. I mean, imagine Shiites and Sunnis killing each other now, and then not to mention all the political wars the Mid East region has suffered. These countries have not learned yet to be just fair, and democratic. They need to respect the humans there and their differences and not attack them for it. I mean, there truly is no basis to establish dialogue and employ peaceful resolutions, there seems to be an odd need to constantly attack the other and cause damage and sufferings. People with such mentalities are a danger not just to the neighboring countries but also to the peace of the entire world.

Stoner, there is a common mentality in the Mid East world that exercises intolerance, and if you want to look at a sample, look at Iraq today.

I support a war against the confessed nutballs that want to rule the world. they know that we need oil and will do anything to control that to then allow us to bleed dry. Iraq was the first step. Weapon proliferation will not allow us to wait forever. sooner or later we have to prove you cant just threaten us and get away with it. they hide behind their women and children to cry foul to allow the Useful Idiot to think we are the aggressors. They are tought to scream torture when caught. they know our rules and are using them against us. Until this country realizes that and dismisses them for what they are we will never progress to stopping these nuts from their missions. Its a war of attrition and we have already shown our liberals wont allow us to do this so.......

I do support the war in Iraq but I hope the end is soon. I don't think we as a country can fix the problems in the Mideast, only war can do that. The Mideast has been at war since the beginning of time and we can't fix that. The factions there will have to fight until only one remains and then it may end because they will not set aside their one sided views. I support the war because it took out someone who threatened the US and showed that we would not cower at his threats.

Never did support, don't now, never will.

Yeah, just look at all the benefits and joys the people of Iraq have in this new democracy they've had forced on them by a kill-crazy President. Why, no one is getting killed anymore. There's peace and tranquility on every street in Iraq as everyone loves one another. Everyone has a good job and is making all kinds of money. Everyone there is just so overjoyed to have this new democracy which they didn't want and don't know what to do with now that they have it.

What a wonderful idea!! Let's spread democracy to other countries as well...Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, then we can for the knockout punch and worldwide nuclear holocaust by spreading democracy to China!!

We have ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to force our beliefs, way of life or government on another country. But, that's what Dumbya is doing.

I support the ideals behind it, to stop the killing and establish a democracy.

I admit to being concerned about the reality of this People's ability to comprehend democracy after centuries of totalitarianism.

I admit to being concerned about the growing threat from Iran, and possibly Russia.

In general, I support the war.

Bringing civilization to the mid east? Give me a ******* break. Civilization BEGAN in Iraq. You wouldn't know it now because our troops were too short handed to protect the antiquities that were looted from Iraqi museums.
The Shiites and the Sunnis weren't killing each other before we went in. They're at each others throats now. Is that how you define civilizing the country?

So would you also support a war with Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, N. Korea, parts of Africa? I mean, you can't just go to war with a country or region that you feel needs to have civilization brought to them. It just isn't practical. If all the reasons you gave are good reasons to fight with Iraq, then you could apply those same reasons to a dozen other countries. And that isn't practical or healthy in the long run or the short run.

You are totally correct. There is sacrifice involved in bringing change to the middle east. It will be very good in the long run, but difficult in the short run. Unfortunately there aren't many people in this world willing to make the necessary sacrifices. Fortunately we have a president in George W Bush who knows the stakes and potential benefit and is willing to see this through to success. I hope that is what in fact happens.

the center of the worlds trade routes and center of history and culture needs us to bring them our way of life . Just think about this for a moment and you will see that it is Islam that has kept these people in the dark ages refusing to allow woman any rights or eduction .It is a religion and not the people who inhabit this region that causes all the suffering and tension .
When will we call a spade a spade again .The truth is hidden in political correctness .
We are not allowed to blame the cause of the problem only those who act upon the nation of Islam's Jihad .

Not all arabs are murderous terrorists. The war has claimed the lives of too many innocent people.

okay, it's popular to want the destruction of the west from these guys. But there are a LOT of things that seem unresolved and like the US is just 'getting away with'. That may or may not be the case to you, but it is firmly to them, they are proud people and do not see any reason in being treated any less than an equal.
