Only you can ruin your own reputation. Your reputation is your character...values...morals...word. No one can "ruin" this for you. However...."if you lie down with dogs you get up with fleas" rings true. In other words, people do judge you on who you choose to associate with.

Yes...my guy friend who had a crush on me like 7 years ago somehow believes that me and him went out but we never did. It's all in his head. Anyway now every girl he likes he has to bring my name up in it and the girls end up not liking me or think I'm this totally evil person. I don't understand why he has to bring my name up in the conversation. WE NEVER WENT OUT DUDE. Get over it.
