If you took the English players out of the teams they play for, you would severely diminish their chances, so maybe. Although it wouldn't affect Arsenal that much.... but I'd like to think they'd beat the Ar5e.
Think about it - Liverpool without Gerrard and Carragher, Chelsea without Lampard, Cole (both of them) and Terry, Man Utd. without Neville, Rooney, Ferdinand and Carrick...
If you could somehow duplicate the players, then no, England would finish no higher than a UEFA cup place.

On paper maybe, but there are too many overated players in the England team (you know who they are).
If we assume that all the england team was cloned so that parent team had the player and so did England so that the teams are on a level playing field, i couldn't see it. Teams in the premiership have better managers, a better mix of players (even City have a broader mix), England wouldn't have a chance. For starters they have one of the weakest Keepers in the Premiership - who is only there cos hes young and english the main england back 4 look strong on paper but they have been known to be average. In midfield we look fairly strong but even so they don't know how to play together too many egos, and upfront we have a choice of Shrek, Plug or Baldie who haven't really set the premiership alight this season.
I predict that the England team would be a mid-table non-entity particularly with the current manager at the helm.
The next question might be what would be the team of England XI and how many English players would make the starting 11 of England XI and who would be the manager?

The foreign influence in the premiership makes it unlikely. Its a painful truth that, barring a few notable exceptions, the foreign players are better.
Having said that; an England team playing week in week out with an established side would certainly be right up there.

Well, if you took out all the best English players and made a separate team to play all the other Premiership teams with their regular players (excluding the ones taken out) then I think they possibly could. That would mean that a lot of key players, Rooney, Ferdinand, Neville, Lampard, Terry, Gerrard, etc would be out of their original squads and playing in their own separate squad against their regular teams (that is, remember, without them those key players). So, I think it would be possible.

we cant suggest taking out the english players
by comparing the current england squad and the premiership clubs' with their english players i dont think they'd win it
but it's the same with other major leagues
the spanish national team wouldnt win La liga either
only nations whose league consist of weak clubs would win... like Brazil and Argentina
perhaps netherland and france would too

Yes England would win it easily!!!!
with the exception of that french club... The Emirates(previously known as arsenal!)...if u took the english players away from the other teams, they would miss them too much!!
maybe they wouldn't win the premiership in the first season..but after one year playing together, then no premier side would get close to them..England would dominate the premiership for years...anyone who thinks differently..obviously doesn't know anything about football...imagine Robinson being able to build a proper understanding with the defence...Terry,Dawson,Neville,
Campbell,Ferdinand,King,
Gardener...
midfield of Lennon,Beckham,Carrick,
Huddlestone,Gerrard,Lampard,
Scholes...
upfront...Bent,Crouch,Defoe,
Rooney,Johnson,Fowler,Owen
all these are current or past or possible future England regulars!
can u imagine being able to train these players together each week...then pick the best 11..other teams would Shite themselves!!
even Abramovich would struggle to be able to afford a better team!

man u would miss our players too much. carrick, rooney, ferdinand, neville, maybe scholes. liverpool would completely crumble without gerrard, the rest of their squad is dreadful. chelsea have such strength in depth that they'd be fine. arsenal - would they lose anybody?
hypothetically, if players could play for both, then england would be about mid-table

no chance,
the premiership contains so many world class players who arent english.
arsenal, chelsea, man utd and liverpool could all field entirely foreign sides capable of beating england.
on paper, england are world class, but they don't play well together.
