What's the best way to remove hair/lint out of my dryer? Every time I wash and dry my black shirts they are covered with hair/lint. I don't think it's from my cat. I go through a lint removal roll a week.

Hang your clothes up to dry instead of the dryer? That's what I do all the time, but I'm cheap, too!!! Otherwise sounds like you're doing what's necessary by cleaning the filter each and every time and whether or not you're SUPPOSED to do this, I have....pound that filter against the edge of the trash can a couple of times, too...Not hard and do not break it or anything but enought to maybe get some straglers off the filter! Otherwise, tosh it in the dishwasher!!!

The dishwasher washes LOTS of things...sponges......filters.....and, well, just lots of stuff!!!

I vacuum the lint catcher's area every few weeks; getting the exhaust hose cleaned also helps, and making sure it's actually venting outside helps, too. I also use fabric softener sheets for the dryer, which reduces the static cling and adds a nice, fresh scent. Also, cleaning the hair from the lint catching screen mid-dry will allow more to go that way instead of onto your shirt.

I have a super-shedding dog, so that's what we do.

If you really want to clean your lint trap well, remove what you can by hand and then use a can of compressed air or your vacuum to clean out the rest.
What might also help is making sure that you use fabric softener sheets in the dryer - that will repel the lint from your clothes.

Good Luck!

you might want to make sure the passage way from the filter to the outside is not blocked this will prevent proper air flow.

Check your dryer's filter and clean.
