Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's residence built to his specifications (and now a UNESCO World Heritage site), is on the back on the United States nickel.

monticello is on the old style nickel, it was thomas jeffersons home, and at the time one of the most techelogiclly advanced buildings in the world and in some respects it still is. the man was a genius
