I would still face toward the door unless there was another door in the back of the elevator...some do have two doors...

Sideways. One eye on the door and buttons, the other eye on weird persons facing the wall. Although, the elavator could have 2 doors, in which case breathe easier.

towards the door , dance like a freak then tell everyone they were suckers as i got out and presed all the floors and the close door button got my hand out before the door closed and then laugh

I wouldn't get on the elevator. I would prefer not to be in a small confined area with a bunch of weirdos.

haha, strange question, honestly i would find it shady and face to the side, i would want a view of the door opening and the people with their backs turned
